Plan International och Telenor har skapat en rapport med namnet “The Gender Gap in Technology in Scandinavia”.
Ur rapporten:
“No country in the world has so far succeeded in achieving gender equality. With the current development, we will not see a world with equal rights for men and women in our lifetime. Gender inequality is especially apparent within the field of digital technology. Technology has arguably never been more influential than it is today. Half of the global population is online, and almost every aspect of our economic, political and social existence is digitalized. The creators of digital technologies are overwhelmingly male. Across the world, women are underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and computing classes and careers.”
