Kan vi f\u00e5 fler att inse att en ingenj\u00f6r \u00e4r en kreativ probleml\u00f6sare som jobbar med m\u00e4nniskor och teknik f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra v\u00e4rlden kommer det troligen leda till att fler v\u00e4ljer att bli ingenj\u00f6rer, s\u00e4ger Madelen Porserud p\u00e5 CoGig.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogig.se\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.cogig.se\/\">CoGig<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pepp.io\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.pepp.io\/\">Pepp<\/a> och stiftelsen <a href=\"https:\/\/womengineer.org\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"womengineer.org\">Womengineer<\/a> presenterar idag resultatet fr\u00e5n en unders\u00f6kning som kartlagt teknikintresset bland kvinnor och icke-bin\u00e4ra. Syftet med rapporten \u00e4r att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 hur de ser p\u00e5 teknik, vad som lockar eller avskr\u00e4cker dem fr\u00e5n ingenj\u00f6rsyrket, samt vilka personlighetsdrag som bidrar till att trivas i rollen som ingenj\u00f6r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Totalt deltog 453 personer i unders\u00f6kningen, d\u00e4ribland 294 blivande och nuvarande ingenj\u00f6rer. En analys av svaren visade att teknikintresse inte n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigtvis \u00e4r en avg\u00f6rande faktor f\u00f6r att bli ingenj\u00f6r. En av sex yrkesverksamma ingenj\u00f6rer anger att de inte anser sig vara teknikintresserade \u2013 n\u00e5got som utmanar den r\u00e5dande uppfattningen att ingenj\u00f6rsyrket och teknikintresse \u00e4r oskiljaktiga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rapporten lyfter fram de personlighetsdrag som oftast f\u00f6rknippas med en ingenj\u00f6rsprofil: kreativitet, probleml\u00f6sning, och viljan att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra v\u00e4rlden. Det visar sig att dessa egenskaper \u00e4r vanliga \u00e4ven hos personer som valt andra yrkesv\u00e4gar, vilket tyder p\u00e5 att m\u00e5nga fler skulle kunna trivas i ingenj\u00f6rsrollen \u00e4n vad som idag s\u00f6ker sig till yrket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8221;Det finns en diskrepans mellan sj\u00e4lvbild och l\u00e4mplighet hos kvinnor och icke-bin\u00e4ra vad g\u00e4ller ingenj\u00f6rsyrket,&#8221;<\/strong> s\u00e4ger representanter f\u00f6r CoGig, Pepp och Womengineer. <strong>&#8221;V\u00e5r f\u00f6rhoppning \u00e4r att den h\u00e4r rapporten ska bidra till att f\u00f6r\u00e4ndra f\u00f6rlegade bilder av ingenj\u00f6ren och \u00f6ppna upp yrket f\u00f6r fler.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6r att inspirera framtidens ingenj\u00f6rer lyfts ber\u00e4ttelser fr\u00e5n tre kvinnliga ingenj\u00f6rer som delar sina resor till yrket fram i rapporten. Deras vittnesm\u00e5l visar att det finns m\u00e5nga v\u00e4gar till att bli ingenj\u00f6r och att m\u00e5ngfald i bakgrund och personlighet \u00e4r en styrka f\u00f6r teknikbranschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8221;Genom att belysa dessa fr\u00e5gor hoppas vi kunna bidra till en mer j\u00e4mst\u00e4lld och inkluderande tekniksektor, d\u00e4r alla som har potentialen och intresset f\u00e5r chansen att lyckas,&#8221;<\/strong> s\u00e4ger rapportens f\u00f6rfattare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Om CoGig, Pepp och Womengineer:<\/strong> CoGig, Pepp och stiftelsen Womengineer arbetar f\u00f6r att \u00f6ka m\u00e5ngfalden inom tekniksektorn och inspirera fler kvinnor och icke-bin\u00e4ra att v\u00e4lja tekniska utbildningar och karri\u00e4rer.
