To broaden its perspective, the foundation has recruited three new members to its Advisory Board. The group consists of a total of six people, who with their different backgrounds and experiences will challenge the organization in the right direction.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To receive support in external communication and marketing, Womengineer has collaborated with the agency Zooma for many years, where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/andersbjorklundzooma\/\">Anders Bjorklund<\/a> is the founder and CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anders believes that \u201cWomengineer&#039;s work is enormously important in promoting modern innovation and development that creates more relevant innovations and even more sustainable solutions from all perspectives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-medium\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" height=\"200\" width=\"300\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/womengineer.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Anders_Bjo%CC%88rklund-300x200.jpg?resize=300%2C200&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-38199\"\/><figcaption>Anders Bjorklund<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A person with practical experience of Womengineer&#039;s work, and primarily in organizing IGEday, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/katarina-matson\/\">Katarina Matson<\/a>, who has worked at Volvo Cars for most of her career. Katarina has been running the company Let&#039;s Tango for some time now, which focuses on helping companies and organizations with inclusion, equality and diversity issues.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWomengineer does important work by being a driving force that shows opportunities, highlights companies and role models, and in various ways inspires girls to invest in the engineering profession. In all cases, it has yielded a lot, both in culture and productivity, once we have managed to achieve a more equal position between the genders. Unfortunately, it has often taken time and has often been far too male-dominated to begin with. The aim is to increase interest in technology among young girls and non-binary people by inviting companies to come on study visits. This year, IGEday will take place on March 31st, when 84 companies will open their doors at around 100 locations in Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Womengineer<\/strong><br>Womengineer is a foundation that works to increase the proportion of girls in technical education.
